Don’t get it twisted

From the frontlines of the war on ourselves… comes Dispatches.

Equal parts humor and human, bleak and reverent, we believe in paying full attention, the poetry of everyday life, and the Godhead. Our pieces range from creative travelogues and assays to interview-profiles and free verse — often some hybrid form therein.

Re content, all that matters is that it matters. We situate ourselves — thematically, rhetorically, politically — somewhere along the underground river that flows from the source and passes through all ancient wisdom, all stories and song, and which now finds itself choked and polluted by things like the Enlightenment and ExxonMobil. Think the Gita, William Blake, Dostoevsky, and Pharaoh Sanders. Think your neighbor, her tomato plant.
